This collection includes Schubert’s Serenade, Schumann’s Traumerei, Yradier’s La Paloma, Offenbach’s Barcarolle adapted from Tales of Hoffmann and Tchaikowsky’s Chanson Triste arranged by Charlie Kunz in his own style.The Kunzstyle favoured big, many-layered chords in the right hand with a more rhythmic underpinning in the left. For instance, the Kunz arrangement of Schumann’s Traumerei transforms a delicate right-hand line into a series of four-notechords, which Kunz himself was able to play with grace and finesse.
