The Beauty of This Sacred Place

A beautiful festival piece to commemorate a church anniversary, building dedication, or any occasion of note. An original text by Marilyn Biery is set to the sturdy Southern Harmony tune PROSPECT. This wonderfully approachable writing features a few places in SATB but much of it is in unison, two-part mixed, or SAB textures which are strong and confident. Optionally, the congregation may join on the final stanza. Instrumental Parts include: Trumpets I and II in B-flat and C, Horn in F (substitute for Trombone I), Trombone I and II, Timpani Part of the Presbyterian Association of Musicians Series.
